Therapy is an explorative healing process. Through it, one can achieve growth and change that did not seem previously possible. I offer psychotherapy for anyone experiencing emotional and mental distress in their lives. I have experience working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, body image struggles, and relationship issues.
There are several values that I hold dear to my practice. My work is guided by a sacred sense of respect for my client’s rights and needs as individuals. I treat each person who walks into my office with dignity and respect for their unique story and personhood. While working with you, I will attempt to understand, empathize with, and normalize experiences, such that you will feel seen, heard, and understood. I also endeavor to relate to my clients with warmth, attentiveness, openness and transparency.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we will explore issues and identify goals. Together we can create a space that feels comfortable and is conducive to sharing. Working jointly we can move to a place of comfort and personal satisfaction. My orientation towards psychotherapy revolves around processing thoughts and feelings to better adjust to stressors in the present and prepare for challenges in the future.
