Navigating through life can be a complicated and challenging process. No one knows your challenges and your struggles better than you do. As your therapist, I am not here to tell you how you should feel or live, but to help and to assist you in exploring your deeper emotions and in making connections to your inner self, through the stressors and challenges you have.
I have experience working with a wide range of clients from diverse social backgrounds with a variety of presenting problems such as anxiety, depression, work stress, relationship difficulties, transitions, past trauma, and other day-to-day challenges and struggles. I strive to create and maintain a safe and judgement-free space for you. Together, we will foster empowerment, self-confidence while exploring new behaviors or changes that will help you to move forward towards a more fulfilling life you desire.
I obtained my B.A in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles, and furthered my education with a Master of Social Work from New York University. My approach is to implement psychoanalytic modality with incorporations of cognitive behavioral therapy, through a strength-based lens, based on your unique concerns and needs. I value on cultural competency, diversity, and will be compassionate, genuine and supportive along the journey we will begin together.
I enjoy the explorations of new things in my free time, and I believe the creativity and flexibility I value heavily will enrich our time together. I look forward to the progress we will achieve collaboratively!
