“If you want to take the island, then burn your boats.” ~ Anthony Robbins
Life is challenging and change is difficult. We know this as therapists, and we know this personally as patients who have sat in the other chair or on the couch ourselves. So, we have tremendous respect for you in taking this initial step toward change, personal growth, and healing. We commend you for not settling, for daring to envision a bigger life. Our mission is to support you every step of the way.
We specialize in people, not in stigmatizing language or labels. Our approach is strength-based and positive. We believe that you have all the resources you need to make great changes in your life. We’re not here to fix you from a point of deficit. We’re here to help you identify, strengthen, and transform the skills that you already possess into powerful resources.
Our therapists are trained in the traditions of Psychotherapy but, we also use elements of Solution-Focused Therapy, NLP, and Life Coaching to combine the depth of psychotherapy with pragmatic goal achievement. Our approach is eclectic and tailored to serve your unique needs, not a specific modality.
“Embrace what you have in common, celebrate what sets you apart.” ~ Ellis Paul
“There’s only one thing we can control, and that is how hard we play.” ~ Don Meyer
Our Client-Therapist relationships are true partnerships based on mutual commitment. From us, you can expect transparency, authenticity, and challenges, as well as, our commitment to provide you with the highest standard of evidence-based treatment. From you, we have two expectations. Show up and play fully! There’s power in momentum. We know from experience that the benefits of treatment belong to those who show up and play fully!
