About This Project

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
~ Anais Nin ~

I commend you for taking a step towards self-determination and prioritizing yourself. However, choosing therapy to cultivate change and improve one’s mental state requires reaching within and discovering the necessary tools. In addition, support is often essential as we drive forward to accomplish life goals. As your therapist, I aim to help guide you along this journey and share evidence-based practices such as self-regulating emotions, engaging in healthy conflict resolutions, and re-wiring faulty thinking patterns to reinforce healthy cognitive behaviors using logic as well as relevance, and the importance of self-care, to name a few.

I’m a skillful listener who is patient and will engage from a neutral, non-judgmental position. I facilitate therapy sessions as conversations between ‘client and clinician.’ The collaboration creates a ‘safe space’ to express vulnerability and a ‘brave space’ to confront any barriers, address any issues, and begin to heal from within. Time is our most valuable resource since we can never return or make more, so I view it as our most prized investment. I am committed to aiding you in achieving your life goals and seeing a return on your investment in your mental health. I also appreciate you allowing me to accompany you on this journey.

And a little about me. My ‘self-care’ days involve:
• Watching YouTube videos about old-world architecture.
• Taking long naps with my little, short-hair Persian kitties Lilith & Clara.
• Conversing with one or all five of my younger siblings.

Interesting Fact: I’ve recently found adult Lego building blocks of world architecture, and the
nostalgia feels terrific!
