About This Project

Let me tell you a secret, therapy is not a one size fits all type of thing! I wish it were as it would make life so much easier, but the fact is every person is different and requires sessions catered to their own unique backgrounds, environments, and goals. As a psychotherapist, my aim is to work with you on getting to wherever you want to be in life, so I invite you to reach out if you are interested in taking a bumpy ride through the road of self-discovery.

Starting therapy can leave you with an intense mix of emotions depending on what led you to seeking out professional assistance. In order to take some of the mystery out of who may sit across from you each session allow me to introduce myself. My name is Elizabeth, a person who has always found interest in figuring out why us humans operate in the way that we do. This interest led me to learning about and exploring a variety of populations. In the past I have had the chance to service POC, the LGBTQ+ community, survivors of abuse, those diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities, individuals with personality disorders, substance users, families and more. Through working with these groups, I have had the chance to utilize a number of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy among other approaches. My experience with each of these modalities enables me to pull from a number of therapeutic styles and craft an experience that meets each of my client’s individual needs. As a psychotherapist it is my goal to create a safe space where each person I work with may receive services that both meet them where they are and alter with them as they continue to grow.

When I am not working, I enjoy aggressive naps, cooking Vincentian dishes to connect with my Caribbean roots, listening to a few too many self-development audiobooks, and catching up on the newest anime!
