Sometimes life just happens. Sometimes we just need a break. And sometimes, we need support from someone who can listen, understand, and guide us, especially when we feel like we don’t have anyone on our side. As your therapist, I can do just that and more! I want to create a judgment-free environment where you can freely express yourself and be true to your story.
I have experience utilizing various therapeutic interventions and approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Solution-Focused, and Strengths-Based. My experience extends to all age groups and individuals from different backgrounds, although I do specialize in trauma. I understand the complexities of trauma and how it can affect one’s life. So, let’s work together and let me listen to your thoughts and feelings, so the next time life “just happens,” you’re in need of a quick break, or your past thoughts just don’t seem to stop lingering in your mind, you have the skills and tools necessary to get to where you need to be!
Outside of therapy, I enjoy trying new places to eat (I love Asian Cuisine), traveling to different places (Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, just to name a few), and a nice cup of coffee to start my day and for peace of mind!
