As New Yorkers with busy personal and professional lives, we sometimes forget to care for ourselves. Investing in yourself is one of the greatest acts of self-care there is, and I’m here to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental space for you to practice self-exploration and create real changes in your life.
I utilize several therapeutic models including CBT, Relational, Insight-Oriented and Psychodynamic therapies to assist clients in developing new ideas about relationships and themselves and to cope with distress around family, dating and relationships, friendships, work, body image, and life transitions. By using a holistic and client-centered approach, along with compassion and humor, I will collaborate with you to build the life you absolutely deserve to have.
My goal is to provide the best care possible, which is why I am committed to being a culturally aware, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA affirmative therapist. I also practice TA-CBT (Transgender Affirmative Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused CBT), and a Health at Every Size approach to further promote a therapeutic environment that is both inclusive and affirming of all identities and experiences.
When I’m not seeing clients, I enjoy volunteering with animals, exploring coffee shops, and watching Golden Girls reruns.
