About This Project

We all need a trusted partner to help us navigate the challenges of life. I would be honored to be the one standing by your side. For me, therapy is a privilege: I have the opportunity to foster healing, growth, and genuine relationships. I am sensitive to the diverse cultural backgrounds of my clients and will work to accommodate any special needs you may have. If you are an immigrant in this country, I have experience working with several émigré communities. I am here to listen to your stories and assist you to overcome obstacles in your transition. I also have experience working with children and adolescents with diagnoses of mental disorders. I can help them adjust to new school and family settings.

Together we explore who you are, where you are, and what you seek to do to achieve fulfillment in your life. I value the uniqueness of each client and work with them to create individualized psychotherapy experiences based on their strengths. In our sessions, we learn to accept who we are and learn to love ourselves. We apply techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and focus on skill learning to help you better navigate issues daily. We will develop mindfulness to focus on our mind and body in the present. Additionally, we can incorporate motivational interviews, solution-focused therapy, family structural therapy, narrative therapy, and other modalities to suit your specific needs and situation. A healthy mind and body take you further as a whole person.

I tend to a small vegetable garden in my free time. I enjoy the process of nurturing my “plant friends” and harvesting a diverse collection of fruits and vegetables. I also like organizing and editing my photos and videos of my family. I am an amateur chef and enjoy learning to cook new cuisines.
