Everybody can benefit from therapy, especially given today’s fast-paced and sometimes challenging climate. By taking these first steps, you are already closer to bettering your daily life and overall sense of wellbeing. In a warm and non-judgmental environment, we will work together to understand your emotions and build resilience, empowerment, and a greater sense of strength and agency.
My style is collaborative and strengths-based, and I believe that each individual has a unique history and story. I utilize a hybrid of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, psychodynamic psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and solutions- focused therapy. Using compassion, empathy, humor, and transparency, we will work together in guiding you towards greater self-awareness and the emotional flexibility to take on life’s challenges.
I am experienced in working with adolescents and young adults living with anxiety and depression, navigating life changes, or overcoming past and current trauma; along with perinatal and postpartum clients who may be experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety, or are having difficulties navigating the many changes that come with new parenthood.
Outside of my therapy practice, I enjoy running (I ran the New York City Marathon!) and finding other ways to get outside and enjoy fresh air in the city, reading, and a good, classic Netflix binge.
